On selecting the control - measuring instruments for ship power plants in compliance with the requirements of classification societies

Abstract

In the paper an attempt is made to describe performance accuracy of the control - measuring instruments which work in the marine environment, in view of complying with the rule requirements of the classification societies. Empirical principles are given for assessing the limit error of the instruments applicable to ship electric power plants. Regulations for periodic surveying theirtechnical condition are also presented.
