RESEARCH INTO STRENGTH AND VIBROINSULATION PROPERTIES OF EPY PLASTIC
Abstract
The paper presents results of research into strength and vibroinsulation properties of the Polish make EPY plastic applied for foundation pads in installation of the ship main engines and auxiliary machines. Vast experience gained from many years of successful application of several versions of the EPY plastic pads in the Polish shipbuilding and ship repair industries is summarized. In consequence of the reported research more effective and rational usage of the plastic material is expected.
