BUSINESS MODEL OF THE WATER SUPPLY

Abstract

The article presents research on the business models values in the water utilities in Poland and discussion about perception of values by the companies. The values in many aspects are perceived similarly by the clients. Whenever companies as important values perceived those related to efficiency and continuity of the process values whether the clients paid attention to the social area of companies activity such as urbanization and ecology focused on care of source of water. Two business models were generated for the purpose of this article. One of them is equal to the existing one in Poland. Comparison of the values presented by two models showed remarkable differences in the area of management, but the same values can be find in the emotional area and similar values we observed in the technical matter. This exercise has been taken to show problems concerning business models in water utilities and presents only a glance perception of the problem. Further research should be continued in order to identify relations between values in different business models.
