PROJECTS AS A TOOL FOR ACHIEVING THE STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES OF COMPANIES
Abstract
Strategic objectives of the enterprise are achieved through daily operations. At the same time achieving strategic objectives requires a number of projects, eg. involving the implementation of a new product, the construction of a specific object or projects relating to the
introduction of organizational change in the company. Assuming a well-developed strategic concepts in the mission, vision and strategic objectives, results of projects should be submitted to the achievement of strategic objectives. However, observed in practice, a number of economic failure in achieving the strategic objectives of the company. Authors of the study based on observation of the business community have attempted to identify the critical factors linking the strategic management of projects implemented in enterprises, on this basis, an attempt to identify the causes and determinants of gaps in the compliance of the results of completed projects with strategic objectives. In addition, authors developed some recommendations on process improvement strategy through projects.
