PROJECT MANAGERS’ COMPETENCE – PILOT STUDY ON THE BASIS OF RESULTS OF CERTIFICATION FOR THE PERIOD OF 2015–2016

Abstract

The article covers information regarding project managers’ competence. The authors discussed IPMA Competence Baseline, 4-L-C certification system, and substantive essentials of certification on IPMA-D level. In a part related to presentation of statistical pilot study, performed on the data collected in 2015–2016 by the Certification Office of IPMA Poland, potential areas of project managerial competence that need to be developed and improved have been identified, as well as the direction and scope of further study on much larger data sample.
