MECHANISM TO SUPPORT ACTIVITIES RELATED TO IMPROVING THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY OF MANUFACTURING PROCESSES AND ENERGY USE
Abstract
Energy efficiency improvement is an area of activities carried out within the framework of green power engineering that is a necessary condition for creating sustainable power engineering to ensure energetic and environmental security all around the world. The activities targeted at energy efficiency improvement in economy are related to the use of innovative clean power technologies in power generating systems, reduction of energy losses in power transmission systems, as well as an increase in power consumption by end users both in industries and public utilities as well as households. In this paper the main directions of activities oriented towards energy efficiency improvement and operating rules for basic supporting systems in Poland, while considering white certificates and energy efficiency audit systems being an important instrument of energetic and environmental policy.
