THE EVOLUTION OF INNOVATION POLICY OF THE EUROPEAN UNION. INSTRUMENTS AND SUPPORT STRATEGY INNOVATION IN THE CONTEXT OF INTEGRATION WITH EU
Abstract
The article presents the evolution of innovation policy of the European Union. The analyses of EU policy contained in the article are based on the theory of the innovation. The text focuses on the European programmes and initiatives for increasing innovativeness and competitiveness of the Community economy. The aim of this article is also to present the impact of the Lisbon and “Europe 2020” EU strategies in the context of the “third generation innovation policy”
