FRANCHISING AS AN INSTRUMENT OF ECONOMIC ACTIVATION OF MARKET PLAYERS
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to present franchising as a means of supporting the functioning of businesses and increasing their economic activity. To achieve this aim, the essence of functioning of the franchise in the conditions at Polish economy, was described. There were listed the number of franchise systems and franchise offices in the years 1995–2013, including banks. It was found that the changes in the business environment sometimes cause a decrease in interest in the franchise system, operating in various businesses. However, this does not mean the withdrawal of the franchise from the whole economy.
