STATIC ASSESSMENT OF THE FINANCIAL LIQUIDITY OF THE ENTERPRISE – THEORETICAL ASPECTS

Abstract

Maintaining financial liquidity is one of the main goals of the company’s short-term financial management. The importance of the problem is emphasized by the fact that the maintenance of financial liquidity in an enterprise determines its current and future functioning. Thus, from the point of view of analysis and assessment of financial liquidity, its measurement is important. The article presents more extensively one of the financial liquidity intakes – static liquidity, the concept of which is based on information from the balance sheet. This approach is often used in the analysis of financial liquidity despite the objections raised in the literature. As part of the study, in accordance with its purpose, various financial liquidity approaches were presented, including the recognition of the static liquidity and the cognitive value of the static analysis of the company’s financial liquidity was assessed.
